This build was accidentally published to Steam on March 6th, 2026. Developers have accidentally included content not intended for release before, but this is the first instance of the entirely wrong game being pushed I am aware of, and almost certainly the only time this has been for an unreleased game. Both the build and manifest for the game date back to May 20th, 2025, and it was accidentally moved to the main branch when the developer intended to push a regular update to the game.

Since this is a mid 2025 build of a game that will only release in late 2027, it is naturally a very unfinished game. The main quest does not progress properly, many of the areas are blockout, dialogue is placeholder, etc.

I make no claims as to being the source of the build or the first to notice it, but the build in it's original state is extremely unstable, and prone to frequent, consistent crashes while playing. My DebugDXGI project includes various patches targeting the game, and I was able to fix all the consistent crashes I encountered. The build is still a bit unstable and you may run into random crashes, but there shouldn't be any maps or actions that outright crash the game. I decided to host this build on my site as I wish for all the builds targeted by my repair/recovery efforts to be accessible here.

The reveal trailer gave us a look at some of the areas seen in this build, matching up exact angles is almost impossible so I only bothered to do it for one location. When the game eventually comes out and I can control the position in the early build and retail game, I'll do a more in-depth comparison.
